STEPS TO PAYING PAYMENT VIA M-PESA.
⦁ Go to M-Pesa Menu on your phone.
⦁ Select Pay Bill Option.
⦁ Enter the business number Bill.
⦁ Enter your water account number e.g. 070123XXX.
⦁ Enter the amount you are paying e.g.1000
⦁ Enter your M-Pesa PIN.
⦁ Press OK
You will receive a confirmation message with the Transaction code and amount.
The account is in another person’s name be it landlord/ previous tenant and hence cannot be reached for direction Wrong account numbers entered during payment Payment to a wrong pay bill number Uncleared bills in the account hence no automatic notification to reconnect Disconnected by inspection calls for clearance of the surcharge as well as the bill
